Burn DVD to disk file

After using Nero Video 2018 to burn a DVD to a disk file, how do I actually burn that file to a DVD?

Thanks

Tony

  • Hi, to burn an image to a disk you need to use Nero Burning ROM, not Nero Video.

  • Hi Toni, some additional info.

for exporting a disc image with Nero Video you need to use the burn to image recorder function in there.

If you want to know how to burn an existing disc image via Nero Burning ROM check this FAQ: https://neroknowhow.com/2016/05/10/ho...

If you already have exported your DVD project to a DVD hard disk folder like shown below you can also use Nero Burning ROM to burn this to DVD-Video using the related project option in there via importing your folder (second screenshot below).

    Select DVD-Video compilation type:

  • Thank you both very much for tour advice.

I have created a DVD of a family holiday and want to create multiple copies to give to family and friends. Not all copies will be identical to the one I have created for my own use. I think there are 3 options and I would appreciate help regarding the most effective way to do this, given that I don't know how many I need to burn and will be doing the job in batches.

    1. Compile the DVD with Nero Video and burn to an ISO file. Use Nero Burning ROM to build DVD's as required

    2. Same as 1, except burn to a disk folder.

    3. Where the copies are to be the same as my current DVD, take the existing DVD and copy the Video_TS and Audio_TS files to a disk folder and use Nero Burning Rom to burn DVD's as required.

I suspect that option 1 will be the best. Advice would be appreciated

    Thanks

    Tony
