Can I cut the audio track of a movie and use it in powerpoint with slides

I have recorded a talk, but the Video is poor. I have the ppt slides of the talk. Can i copy the audio track, save it as an audio file and run it into ppt and sync the slides to it?

  • Hi Chris,
I'm not sure about getting the audio into PPT and syncing it ... however, you can certainly save the audio from a video using Nero Video.

In Nero Video - using either Make Express Video or Make Advanced Video , import the video.

Then, you can use the "Export" button (at the bottom of the editing screen) and choose to export the audio only out to an audio file. You might have only the option of a .wav file, but if you want it as a .mp3 - you could change the .wav file afterwards by using Nero Wave Editor to open the file then "Save As" out to a different sound file format.

There are ways in ppt to time the slide advance. You'd likely have to have s custom time for each transition. Audio goes on first slide and set to keep running. Or make audio clips for each specific slide Let me know if you need help in ppt to do this.
