change black and white Nero 10 capture to color
I have been using Nero 10 capture to monitor the recording of a dvd to vhs recorder on to dvd-re-writable, then doing the editing using Nero to edit on the computer. But I now want to actually capture to hard-drive --using SVID2USB22 adapter --picture is fine, but black and white. Video device "general tab" will not allow movement of any 'slides" except the first 2.. all the others are zeroed out. It used to show color , so I have inadvertently done something. Restoring to "default" is black and white..

Does the device that has the actual media, s-video or composite?
Do you have the latest driver from the adapter manufacturer? -

The device --svid2usb22 has both s-vid and composite. But I use composite. I do have the latest driver. I have restarted the computer several times with no change. Just now I again started the computer and now have color in the Nero capture. Don't know why or what, but it finally reset. So I will just have to be patient if it happens again and restart until Nero resets.
Thank you for the prompt reply. While I have your ear. How do I set the video device properties(left click on TV on the far right) to default to NTSC instead of PAL -where it always starts. Thanks. -

To answer your last question, where it says DVD-Video Compatible, change that to Custom. Then in the Configure, select NTSC in the Video Mode.
