Does anyone know how to complain about terrible nero customer services please?

Should I assume that you too have a problem getting nero CS to help - or even reply in less than three days? BackItUp 2014 is meant to be a free replacement for BackItUp and Burn which I bought only three years ago but won't allow file backup to DVD under Windows 8. Anyone else have the problem which Nero CS ignore?

You should start a new thread on the Backitup problem with specifics about the problem.
In general, it takes 3-5 business days (they don't work weekends) to get a technical response. This can vary depending on their workload. Based on the number of problems with v14 posted here, I suspect they're probably pretty busy. -

There's free e-mail support, free chat support and free forum support. I never recommend paying for support.

I have bought a Sony tablet from PC World, or should I write PC World of there own!! They told me its all I need. No way Houssay, So Bighting the Bullet I went forward. Turns out When you load the disc it clearly states for $4.90 {Dollars} you can purchase the sweet needed to play DVD's on it so Bighting the Bullet again I went to sign up Noted that now it was £4.90 {Sterling}!! So I BIT THE BULLET AGAIN. {Note the last Bight the Bullet} Was loud if such a thing were possible. The process from there on was easy-peasy-lemon-squeezie {No way Houssay not on your nelly} They send an email for you to down load. Downloading over. Its Just 1 click away {Is it NOT by Nelly} The suit I want and played for is the DVD {visual one} the one they are sending is an Audio {that's sound to you Nero} NOTE THE Mistake... Any way up I get on to there 24 hour complaints Well No I didn't as there was no one there to complain to... So I sent an email and await instruction.. Just a thought wasn't Nero a Roman Caesar? who Fiddled while Rome burnt down, I think there fiddling with them selves if they think i'm going away... I sould coco.

I think so I'm not to up on it there is a flash of wording as it downloads and all I can see is audio pack there is no mention of dvd. I thought buy the external memory job done how naïve was I.. Didn't know I had to buy an app When I put a disc in its still asking me to buy the app. It states a KWIK APP... hehehehehe

Just tried again it has downloaded a audio pack 1 again whilst stating on the receipt its charged for...

The only audio pack is the DTS player. That's why I questioned it.

I had contacted this trash peddler for a refund because they advertise a product they dam well does not work.After contacting Wis.AG office and the Wis.dept. of consumer affairs\protection I was advised there were hundreds of others out there with claims of fraud,deception and unauthorized credit card charges against both companies and they were jointly involved in an investigation into both companies.They are sending me paper work to join the growing list of plaintiffs.
I made my refund request with in the 90 day period and have heard nothing.I have tried to resolve issue with tech support and customer service neither which exists.Tried there forums and that is were I come across them acknowledging they knew that part did not work and has not since its conception .It needs to be understood what kind of thieving low life pond scum these people are -

The language, "In the past we have been able to import and convert videos from YouTube" can be a little misleading. While it would occasionally import YouTube videos, it was NEVER reliable. Facebook imports were even worse.
The Nero 2016 Recode manual:
"4.2 Converting Online Video File With Nero Recode you can encode a online video file to a video file. The process for encoding a video file from the Internet is nearly the same as for encoding a video file from harddisk. Just make sure to select the task Import Online Video from the start screen.
Copyright Unless you possess the copyright yourself, or at least have the permission of the copyright holder, the unauthorized reproduction of files may be a breach of national or international law and may lead to severe penalties!
To select a video file from the Internet, proceed as follows: 1. Provide the source online video file: 1. Open your Internet browser. 2. Call up the address where the online video is located. 3. Play back the whole online video! Once the online video was played back, it is available for Nero Recode to encoding. 2. Click the Import Online Video link. The Select the videos to convert screen is opened. The online videos which are available are listed here.

To all those considering nero ag do yourself a HUGE FAVOR look else ware there are sooo many other programs out there that beat nero hands down.and they actually have tech support and customer service.There programs are actually written by reputable programmers.All nero does after taking your money and giving you a nonworking broke ass program will be to tell you to go to there broke ass forum pages that have some yoyo reach into his bag of trick fixes for you to try just to piss you off more NOPE don't do it do not support these shysters your money will be well spent else ware

Not sure who's reference number your talking about but this would be nero's when they said a refund would be do able NERO-160412-0060 and have not heard a word since other than some lame fix that does not work

On the paperwork I filled out no such number exists HOW EVER there is a case number that will be on the top left hand corner of the paper work (sumons)served upon nero and cleverbridge just as soon as all plaintiffs in said class action have responded

If you have bought the package online we can arrange a refund, however we want you to first do the following,
Please download the Nero FirstAidKit from:
ftp://ftp6.nero.com/tools/NeroFirstAidKit.zip
to your harddrive.
Unzip the ZIP-file with WinZip or WinRAR and save the content to your hard drive.
Double-click on the unzipped EXE-file to start the Nero FirstAidKit.
-> The window "Nero FirstAidKit (for test only)" will open.
Confirm the message to remove the Nero entries with YES.
-> A status window will open.
The execution of the tool may take several minutes.
Please wait until the progress has been completed.
-> The message "Finished cleaning up" is displayed.
Close the window by clicking the "finish" button.
-> Nero FirstAidKit has removed all Nero entries from your registry.
