Converting 'AVI' video to 'MJPEG'
I am attempting to convert 'AVI' video files to 'MJPEG' (using Nero 2019). Recode indicates that the associated audio track is not recognized. I believe I have identified it as 'WAV'. I uploaded the video to Nero Video and exported audio as 'OGG'. Recode did not indicate an 'error' when reading the new file, but I still am at a loss regarding conversion of 'AVI' to 'MJPEG'. Can anyone provide the solution?

Open Nero Video and import the file. Double click on it. Select Metadata. Does it show the audio format there?
If not, would you upload the file to something like Dropbox, share it, create a link and then copy the link here? -

I have been recoding old DVD's that were converted from VHS tapes 18 years ago to .vob files. Try doing a "copy/paste" to your hard drive from the DVD video files and then upload the files from your computer to Nero Recode - possibly the DVD is faulty. I have done several recodes on the old DVD's with no problems. Love Nero!!!
If you are copying the files first from the disc to your hard drive sorry for this reply. -

Hi Janet-
Did you post in the correct thread? Your response sounds like it's applicable here-

Thanks Wither 1. Metadata indicates the original format to be 'MPEG4_P2' (AVI).
The original video file comes from a small (digital) Casio camera. My goal is to play the video on a Pandigital viewer. Pandigital indicates that it will 'play' Motion JPEG video. So, seeking to convert the format. Nero literature (for 2019 verision) indicates that this should be available, but I do not see that option.

It doesn't tell me what the audio is.
Do you mind sharing the file with us, as I mentioned above? -

Mike,
I don't know of any way to create a Motion JPEG video using Nero apps. The conversion can be done with the free XMedia Recode program. -
