Customer Complaint

I have been sending emails to Nero Tech support seeking assistance with an installation problem Nero 16 Platinum, no response 3 weeks later, very frustrated.
I have purchased several upgrades over the years it is disappointing to see Nero no longer values its customers treats them with contempt.Unfortunately Nero is unacountable and hide behinds its community
A customer complaint would be a waste of time, I only wish that my email to the community would help people to avoid procuring Nero products.
Is anyone else in the community getting the same infuriating treatment, sorry Nero I would not recommend Nero after sales service to anyone.
I live in hope that someone from Nero one day will give me assistance Gordon

    and submit the contact form.

    If you have done this and gotten the automated response 3 weeks ago, let me know.

    Thanks for your interest you are the only person to respond to my requests for assistance
    I have followed your advice used the contact form to Tech Support at least 4 times each time I get an automatic response Thank you for contacting Nero
    It looked promising but it ends there' I do not believe there is such a thing as Nero Tech Support
    If you are able to access Nero records you will see that i have sent 4 emails to Tech
    Cleverbridge advised me that I would get good support from Nero Tech also gave me similar advice as you have, they are the money end of the arrangement unable to help any further.
    All i want is assistance to install and a advice as to get past the download failed
    pending Microsoft Redist 2010 SP1 (x86) & Reboot validator
    I have purchased several Nero Licence keys over the years using Nero all i want is to reinstall my Nero 16 Platinum package.

  • Hi Gordon, please uninstall Microsoft Redist 2010 SP1 (x86) reboot and try to install the product again. If it fails, please download and install from this link. https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/downl..., reboot and try again. There is no support coverage for Nero 2016 anymore.

  • I’m sad Nero has gone down this path if were not for the community Nero would fail miserably.
    Installation is now complete amazing what can happen when tech finally helps.
    If it was not for Wither 1 a person who took the time to intervene on my behalf this problem would still not be resolved.
    I cannot describe in writing that would be acceptable, the way Tech ignores cries for help and the way customers are treated. Very Very Poor Nero 0 out of 10.
    Nero needs a a lot of improvement in people skills, how it deals with its customers.
    It took about 5 min to uninstall Microsoft Redist 2010 SP1 (x86). Issue resolved.
    I am now informed that there is no support coverage for Nero 2016 even though it is still listed not quite 2 years old,customers should be aware.
    The only way to get support from Nero is to buy upgrades each time they are released currently annually..
    Nero is not interested in the older versions so it will cost you as your purchased product over 1-2 years will not get support.
