Trying to edit & merge video clips and then export to 4k file. At first clip end Nero just stops end the estimated end time starts to increase. The same problem wether I leave the clips unedited or not. If I export to 1080 res it runs without problem but since there is a 4k option for export I want that to work.
The files are from a Sony action cam, might that interfere?

Perhaps there is a problem with one of them. Can you export the first and second files separately (don't have both in your project at the same time)?
If you have smart encoding enabled, it will analyze each clip to determine if it needs to be encoded. If one does, the time for encoding may increase.-
Jochen Klug July 06, 2019 18:08I've tried different clips, the problem is the same. Two clips of about 12 seconds each. It stops after the first and still after 20 minutes has gone nowhere. Surely that can not be due to encoding.EditDeleteRemove

Exporting The flower clip never even starts, I get an error right away. The Hardware accelaration box is not available, as in it not there at all.
I have reported it via Live Guide but no answer yet. -

Jochen,
While you wait for Nero, it seems that Since5.5 (Employee) once asked a user to download a 4K file and import it into Nero Video to fix a similar problem, but I can't find the post. I can't remember any details - just that simply importing a 4K file made everything good. If you want to give it a shot, here's a link to one I made:

Jochen,
Thanks for giving it a try. I've noticed Since5.5 (Employee) has been in the forum several times since the post and didn't take the time to comment on the accuracy of my post or offer any other advice. -

All packs downloaded and installed, no difference. Nero has responded now, let's see what they come up with.

Update:
Got this answer from Nero Support:
"I use the video which you supply and reproduce the issue in win10 32 bit , it can be exported normally on win10 64bit. The bug related with 32bit, and will be fixed in future version, but need long time."
Not the solution I was hoping for but at least now I know and will have to look for another software to use. Bye, bye, Nero. -
