I have a Sony FDR AX100 Handicam shooting videos in 4k Mp4.
Im trying to merge multiple clips to generate a single clip.
I would like to do it as quickly as possible and also with no re-encoding/no loss of quality.
I thought Nero Video's Smart Encoding would be able to do this.
However when I export the video as 'AVC Ultra HD(4K)' , Nero seems to be reencoding the videos.
Is there a way to make Nero Append the videos quickly in order to generate a single 4k mp4 file ?
I am using the latest Nero Video ( 21.0.2013 )

Hello Rajesh K
To my knowledge, the only place in the Nero suite you can output in 4k resolution is in Nero Video by the export process, which you have found. Smart Start determines whether or not some material in the project needs to be encoded. If not, the process is faster. -

Yes.
But in my case, it seems to be encoding all over again ( I have the option to select '1 pass' or '2 pass' during this encoding ) -

I wouldn't bother with 2 pass when you have 4k unless your having a problem with the quality of the output. Note that It will make the encoding time longer.
You can also turn off Smart Encoding. That won't stop encoding of material that needs to be encoded but doing so has, once in a while, helped people with some problems but I don't remember the details.-
I just noticed that I said Smart Start in my first response. I meant Smart Encoding.
