  • You can use either Nero MediaHome or Nero Video. Nero Video has far more options for adding effects, transitions, etc. Just depends on how fancy you want to be.

In Nero MediaHome, click on Slide Show, Create New. Click on Add Files, and browse to your files and add them. You can then add a theme or music. When done, click on Burn. If you will be playing the disc in a DVD player, select DVD-Video. Click on burn. Done.

In Nero Video, click on Make Slide Show. Click on Import, Import Files, and browse to your files and add them. Drag the files to the StoryBoard. If you want to add transitions or other effects, click on the effect palette and select what you want. Click on next and select Create a Disc, DVD-Video. In the Content screen you can add Chapters. Click on Next. If you want a menu, create one. Elsewise, change it to no menu. Click on Next until you get to the burn screen and burn.

  • Put a empty dvd or cd into the CD/DVD writer of your pc.

    2 Open Nero Burning Rom.

3 A new compilation window will open.

If you don't get the new compilation window, then click at the left-top on "File" and choose "New".

4 At the New Compilation window you choose:

"CD" and select "CD-ROM (ISO)" if you want to burn your photos to a cd.
"DVD" and select "DVD-ROM (ISO)" if you want to burn your photos to a dvd.
5 Click at the bottom of the new compilation window on "NEW".

6 On the right-side window at browsers/filebrowser you go to the location on your computer where the pictures are.

7 Drag and drop the photos to the left-side window.

If you want to burn complete folders containing images on the dvd or cd then you need to drag and drop the entire folders to the left-side window.

8 At the bottom of Nero, you can see how much MB you can burn on the cd or how much GB you can burn on the dvd.

Most dvds are about 4.7 GB and most cds are between 600 MB and 700 MB.

9 When you are ready with choosing the photos or folders, you click at the top on "Burn" and Nero will start the burning process.

  • Thanks. I have a set of those. After I posted and went over to the new house, I remembered I forgot to tell you I'm using 1/4" plywood. I used a drill bit the last time and, even though it worked, it tore the wood. I guess I could still use what you recommend and small screws. This is for the house I'm currently living in. It was built in 1960. Just wanted to do some fix up before I put it on the market. I'm not sure what they did back then but, whatever it was, they did a good job.

I just love the fact that they reduced the thickness of 1/4" plywood and jacked up the price greatly. If they're going to raise the price, leave the thickness alone. We don't have a shortage of trees.
