I just uploaded my new Nero Burning ROM 2017 and CD's and DVD's work fine but it will not burn a DVD+R DL with failing
-
By the way, I did check to make sure that the DVD burner will burn DVD+R DL and it shows that it will do this.

And here is the log:

Please get back to me. If this doesn't work I would like a refund.

Lawrence that is not the log file for a failed burn. When the burn fails Nero will ask you if you want to save the log file, please do and copy & paste it here in the forum. Did you select the Dual Layer option in NBR?
-
-
Yes, I did choose the DVD9(8.5GB)

You're getting a media error and ordinarily, we would say try a different disc, a different batch of discs or a different brand of discs. However, that may not apply here. Over the years, people have periodically had problems burning a DL disc (normally from Nero Vision/Video) and we've asked them to contact tech support about it.
Are you intentionally burning a multisession disc?-
I’m having same problem with 2018, but not a multisession.
-
-
You can go to tech support on this issue but, since they don't work weekends (it's almost quitting time there right now) would you post the log file?
-
-
-
-
-
Yes, I burn Multi-session when I think I may have to add other files to the disk.
Can you give me a contact phone or email for tech support? -
-
-
-
Lawrence, the disc's you're using MKM = Verbatim are good quality disc's but you're burning at it's maximum rated speed, try at half the rated speed or less.
-
-
I changed from 8X to 4X which were the only choices. And guess what? It worked.
I hope this will solve the problems for the future in burning DL disks.
Thanks for your persistent help.
Larry -
