Invalid track info error copying audio CD

OK So I recorded some audio in mp3 format and then processed the files in audacity, split it into tracks and saved the tracks as WAV files and attempted to burn an audio cd using Windows media player, didn't work so used Nero Burning Rom 2016. No problems disc burnt fine. Tested it in a CD player - played fine. Then attempted to copy the disk in both a copier and when that didn't work attempted to copy using the copy function in Nero Burning ROM. I set the copy function to simulate. Simulation went fine but burn failed with errors illegal disc and invalid track info. Looking at the log report I see this near the end:
13:29:38 #74 CDR -1046 File ThreadedTransferInterface.cpp, Line 1881
Illegal disc
E: HL-DT-ST DVDRAM GP60NB50

13:29:38 #75 TRANSFER -35 File ThreadedTransfer.cpp, Line 1235
Invalid track info
I can upload or cut and paste the whole log if need be but is it too long to fit here?

Where is the problem? Is it with the original file and if so can I fix it?
Is it the media (CD-R Phillips)?
Is it with the burner or burn process? (If so what can I do?)
