jukebox audio cd

I made a jukebox audio cd for my mp3's to be able to store more songs on it but I have folders for each artist and my changer in my truck only plays between 2 folders only for all 6 I burnt. Do the mp3 files all have to be on cd and not in a folder.

  • Hi Michael-

As far as I know, you can't just burn the folder and expect the player to open them. Honestly, I don't know how you were able to burn a folder for a jukebox audio cd. It only accepts files.
    • Actually, you can add folders to a Jukebox Audio CD ...
It's funny how some playback systems can cope with folders and others cannot.

My mother, for example, has a Daisy device and for USB input, it REQUIRES files to be in folders in order to play ... but that's another issue.

Michael, in your case, I guess the best thing to do is to avoid using folders for your player ... That makes it a little more annoying for you though, because you would have to manually rename the files prior to burning if you want them to all to play in groups. Otherwise, you will most likely get tracks lining up in odd order due to their possibly conflicting sort order :(
