I’m confused

My Blu-rays won't play in Nero Kwik Media anymore.

Instead I get a new "Nero Blu-ray Player" windows. Why?

  • ith a successful update of Nero Kwik Media, you will notice that there is a new application named "Nero Blu-ray Player" listed in your Windows start menu.

Whenever you decide to play a Blu-ray/AVCHD Disc or file in Nero Kwik Media, a new enhanced Blu-ray player will automatically open and play your favorite Blu-ray Disc movies and home videos burned to Blu-ray Disc in razor-sharp clarity with cinema quality DTS and Dolby Digital Surround right on your PC.

Of course the integrated Nero Kwik Media Player is still available to play your DVDs, standard video files, slideshows, etc.

  • The Blu-ray Player only allows to play blu-rays from a disc at the moment. Blu-rays from your hard drive and AVCHDs aren't supported. This will be fixed with the next update in Sept.
