Nero 18 won't install on Win 10 v 1903
Problem installing Nero 18 on Wind 10 v 1903 opsys. After putting in my valid product key the install wizard gets about three seconds into to the install process and shuts down, giving me an error message that says nothing useful. Nero 18 worked fine on my Win 10 v 18XX. I used the Nero firstaid tool to uninstall off the old win 10. In addition, I have removed the product key from the old Win 10 using Nero Control Centre. I have tried contacting Nero and they have been no help - they are not even responding to my emails asking for direction. Any help would be appreciated.

What is the "useless" error message?
Your serial number is resident in the registry but the firstaid kit should remove it.
I assume you sent an e-mail to feedback@nero.com. If you sent it like Friday, you won't get a response until at least Monday since they don't work weekends. -

The "useless" error message is as follows:
The wizard was interrupted before Nero 2018 could be completely installed.
Your system has not been modified. To complete installation at another time, please run setup again.
No error codes or otherwise descriptive indicators of the issue.

Unfortunately Nero has been unable to assist me since I sent this to them on Dec 15. They said that they created a ticket to resolve, did not send me anything to resolve the issue and then told me to create another ticket when I reached out to them again.
I have reviewed the above-noted threads (and others) and have been unable to resolve the issue (after about many, many tries involving different options based on the threads). Wither 1 you have been involved in all of these threads so I would assume that if an answer did present itself, you would know about it. I will keep trying. If anyone else out there was able to solve this issue (without re-installing the opsys - which I just did) please let me know.
Many thanks to all out there who try to solve other users' issues, especially when the vendors are unable to do so. -
