Nero 10 HD installation problem

Already bought nero 9 reloaded and nero 10 platinum HD, cant get no satisfaction out of reinstallation of nero 10 platinum HD or nero website, will never buy nero again. Nero needs to get there act together and create a decent website and give proper support for there software, for godsakes stop ripping people off. If you ever want to sell me nero again you better give me nero 15, If not nero will never see my computers again!!   • It's pretty hard to respond to a thread that spouts "no satisfacton" when the problem (s) isn't identified and there is no mention if you contacted tech support about them.
    You also haven't posted in this forum before.

    Since v9 hasn't been available for purchase for about 6 years and v10 hasn't been available for purchase for about 4 years, are you just now waiting to complain?

    Why don't you tell us what the problem is with v10?
    • When i reinstalls v10 the only thing that installs is the ask toolbar, i shouldnt have to waste my time reinstalling this product 4-5 times to try and get it to work properly. I think the software providers should make it as to be a easy clean install every time where the provider should remove any files that should interfere with a clean install, all i have to say is i am tired of trying to reinstall this software and getting it to work correctly which shouldnt be that hard to do. Anyway i had to revert to v9 after4 trys at v10 with a total clean with mcafee before each install. Come on it shouldnt be that difficult. Plus my email is not registered after being registrted twice before. I never ever haf a problem with a software product like that in my life
    • I have downloaded the files you sent me links to and even used nero clean tool and still cant install v10. I have installed v9 a dozen times now with no problems. Even if I got v10 installed you guys want to sell me updates for v10 a product I already bought. like I said I never had any problems installing v9 and i'll be damn if I am gonna waste anymore of my time trying to send you any log files, you guys have a problem with v10 platinum and its very unprofessional to sell updates for a product. Need I say anything more besides you lost a costumer.

  • In order to analyze your problem properly, we require some additional information.

    At first, it will be necessary to activate MSI logging on your system to collect the installation log files. This can be done with the tool “EnableAndDisableLogging.zip”.

    Click the following link to download this file to your computer:

    After downloading extract the file EnableAndDisableLogging.zip on your desktop using WinZip, WinRAR, or 7-zip (www.7-zip.org).Open the extracted folder and execute the file “EnableLogging.exe”.

    Start the Nero installation again.

    The installation process will be logged and saved into the MSI log file.After the logging has been activated and the installation of Nero failed, please click the following link to download the “GetSupportFiles.zip” file to your hard drive:

    Extract the zipped file on your hard drive using WinZip or WinRAR. Start the tool by double-clicking the EXE-file.-> The “C:\WINDOWS\system32\cmd.exe” window opens.The tool may take several minutes. You can track the single steps in the displayed window.

  • The Nero General Clean Tool is only for v9 and earlier. v10 and later are uninstalled from the Control Panel.

    Haven't you heard back from technical support in the last 3 weeks?
