Old CD MP3 Player - verses Nero 14

I used Nero 6 for many years to make data MP3 discs to play in my truck. When I had to buy a new PC, it didn't support my old Nero so I upgraded to Nero 14. The discs play on my Bluray player, but not in my truck.

I read that I should change settings rom UDF to ISO. I must be doing it wrong, because the truck still doesn't read the discs like those burned as 'data' discs of MP3's on Nero 6.

Attached shows the settings I manually changed to - and the screen shot of the successful burn (that doesn't read in my truck).

  • Hi LeiaL,
Those settings look like they should work.
Although 10X burn speed is not very fast, I select a burn speed of 8X or less for more reliable results.

If you have Nero 14 Classic or Platinum ... it would include Nero Express.

If you do have Nero Express, perhaps give that a try - by choosing Music / Jukebox Audio CD ... it produces an ISO type data disc also by default and if you click on the "triangle" button - center left of the Express window ... you get to change some options in there ... selecting a burn speed of 8X or lower might be worth a try.

  • Thanks, I will try another batch/set of discs. (I ran out). I will choose the slowest speed (I usually do whenever there is an option burning any type of disc), as I might have missed that this last week.
