I would like to create a password protected SecurDisc containing audio files (.wav or .mp3) and allow others to play the audio files on their computer without giving them the password. Can the standard play, skip forward, skip backward audio player controls be added to the Nero SecurDisc Viewer?
I want to keep my audio files password protected, but allow users to play the audio files on their computer.

The only recommendation I can make is to send an e-mail to tech support. Perhaps they'll have some ideas or perhaps agree to add those functions to the viewer in a new version. Let us know what they have to say.

I don't think that they'll integrate a player feature for password protected content, because this isn't the main task for SecurDisc.
What you need is the ability to create your own DRM protected files. As far as I know there isn't any software to do so for private consumers. I think Windows Media Player had or has the option to create a copy protected wma-file, when ripping an audio CD (right-click on the file in the list of WMP and choose "Advanced Options".
May I ask, what you need a copy protection for private files for? -

This is not possible - if a user could play the files, he could also copy them.
For Playback, the files has also to be read from the disc -
