Recode 2014 Introduces Sync Problems and Truncates Audio (MKV HE-AAC to MP4 LC-AAC)

There are two issues here.

Issue 1: As in several recent similar posts, serious audio/video cumulative sync problems are introduced by the recoding process.

Issue 2: The audio of the output file is truncated; the file made for this post is missing about 90 seconds of audio a the end.

I produced an audible demonstration placing the source video on track 1 and the output video on track 2 in Nero 2014 Video and exporting the last ~3 minutes. The video shows the word START followed by the sample dolphin picture while a SoundBox voice says, "Left front, right front, center, inaudible, left rear, right rear." The sequence is repeated continuously and the words "Left front" should be heard when the word START appears. In the video demo, the two tracks can be heard to be seriously out-of-sync while the video is in sync. Then, after ~90 seconds, the out-of-sync audio disappears for the last 90 seconds.

Truncated MediaInfo for the source file showing the discrepancy in the audio duration:

...
Format : Matroska
...
Duration : 18mn 56s
...
Audio
...
Duration : 18mn 56s
...

Truncated MediInfo for the output file:

...
Format : AVC
...
Duration : 18mn 56s
...

...
Duration : 17mn 23s
...

The output file [~1 GB] for this post was recoded from the source file [~800 GB] using the following parameters:

The source file is the same as that described in topic Recode 2014 Truncates Audio (MKV HE-AAC to MP4 HE-AAC).
