I am making a Movie DVD with movies from my iPad and Camera. When I import some of the movies to Nero, it puts them in sideways. I cannot find a way to rotate them. Can you help? I just came back from an Africa Safari with 1624 pictures and 60 movies.
I think I had my iPad sideways some of the time and upright other times. I did see Rotation one time when I was searching, but I can't locate it anymore.
It is in .nvc format, and I would like to combine it with some picture .nvc files. I need help with that also.

Just to let you know, you can only open one .nvc file at a time. As a result, to combine the two projects together, you would need to first export each project to file. Then you can import both files in one of the editing options or disc project options.
If you're in Advanced Editing, you can click on a video on the timeline while the Effect Palette is open and then select Rotation from its properties. You can then rotate as necessary.
If you created the photos project in Make Slide Show, click on a photo that's on the Storyboard. You should see a little fx in the upper right corner of the photo. Click on that and select Rotation. -

I have two movies that needed rotating, and I applied the fix to both of them. The second one took but the first one did not. I moved the red timeline to the first of the movie, selected the movie, and the Properties box displayed. I set the rotation for 90 degrees clockwise, and selected the use keyframes check box. That worked on the second movie, but not the first.
I did create the project in Make Slide Show, and it has a .nvc extension.
I do not see the fx in the upper right corner of the movie.
Suggestions?
Thank you for your help. I am new with this and appreciate all the assistance. -

I just figured it out. The Rotation box was not selected.

Hi Bob-
Note that keyframes has nothing to do with rotation. It's used to do things like adjust the volume of audio within parts of a video or audio file.
I'm glad you got everything squared away.

Thank you very much for replying to this.
Is there an online manual or store-bought book on how to use this product?
Where in the product, beside this very good user comment utility, are there Help utilities?
Thanks,
