I just bought the Nero Classic 2015. I want to burn blu rays from file I captured with a Hauppauge PVR 2. I captured 2 files, one is AVCHD Video (.m2ts) and the other is MPEG-2 TS. When I go into Nero Express to do the blu ray burn it tells me this:
One or more files could not be added to a compilation.
Only compliant Blu-ray files
\BDMV\index.bdmv
\BDMV\MovieObject.bdmv
\BDMV\PLAYLIST\*.mpls
\BDMV\CLIPINF\*.clpi
\BDMV\STREAM\*.m2ts
\BDMV\AUXDATA\sound.bdmv
\BDMV\AUXDATA\*.otf
can be added to the appropriate folder of a BDMV compilation. Please add files from a completed Blu-ray title or use an authoring software like Nero Video to create Blu-ray files from standard video files such as *.avi and *.mpg.
The following files / folders may not reside in the directories of a BDMV compilation.
\\OWNER-PC\Users\Owner\Videos\Nero Recode\HDPVR2_20150702_0932.mpg
I tried doing a recode to MPEG-2 using the Nero Recode but it is giving me the same message.
It gives me the same message if I try to burn to AVCHD format.
What do I do?

After trying 4 times and getting the error log I sent you earlier I tried again. I had been using a Verbatim BD-RE. The fifth time I used a BD-R. It worked. I then tried a regular DVD+R. That worked. I then again tried a BD-RE and that worked. Why it didn't work the first four times I don't know. But, So far all is good. I will try some minor editing next.
Thanks for everything. -

The only issue I see is that you've burned a data disc and it won't play automatically in a standalone player.
To be able to play it automatically in a standalone player, you have to author your video files into the blu-ray disc structure (BDMV or BDAV) in Nero Video. You can burn the project directly to disc in Nero Video or you can burn the project to your hard drive and then import the folder into Nero Express and burn it as a blu-ray disc. -

I ended up using Nero Video and it mostly worked. I left another post explaining the problem.

I guess you're referring to the other thread that you created. I haven't gone there yet this morning but I think it's a different issue. I'm just addressing what you can do with Nero Express in regards to creating a playable disc.
