Unable to play a MP3 track in Nero WaveEditor 2017.

Tested MP3 tracks in Media player successfully. File loaded successfully but can not get any sound in Wave Editor even after reinstalling the program. Is there some hidden configuration that I missed?
Any help will be much appreciated!!

  • Hi Fred-

    Do you have a speaker symbol in your system tray (notification area)? If so, open WaveEditor and click on speaker. Select Mixer. You should see the relative sound levels for Windows and any program currently running that uses audio. Select WaveEditor and drag the volume line upwards to increase the volume.
