Very disappointed!

I have always loved using Nero products, they are very dependable and superb, but suddenly every time I try to use Nero Video Classic 2015, I get a message that informs me that there are duplicate activation and that I have exceeded the maximum amount permitted. I admit that by using Windows 10, I have had more crashes for such a new OS. The last time I had a crash was almost 3 months ago and when I re-installed the OS and all my programs, everything was functioning correctly after. Since yesterday night, this problem with Nero arose and it is strange because I have not re-installed anything on my PC lately. I have refused any new offers made recently by Nero, simply because I am happy with what I have installed up to now. But I guess that Nero now is messing with my PC by blocking my use of their program by accusing me of possible having installed their program on more than one machine. I only have one PC and every time I had to re-install their software, it has been to the same machine. I have requested several time during the last 12 hours for my patent activation to be reset, but I have been ignored. My only recourse is to go to someone else that will provide the software that I need and that will cause me to delete all Nero products of my PC. I will then inform my friends and family not to buy Nero Products because apparently they will SPAM your PC with their adds and if you don't accept any of their offers, they will mess with your currently installed software. Shame on you, Nero!

  • Anthony you are allowed 5 re-activations by Nero before they block your serial number. Send an email to patent.activation@nero.com along with your serial number and what you were doing and they should re-activate your app. Coming into the forum and saying what you said will not endear you to anyone. I've had Nero since version 9 and yes I've had problems, which have been resolved by Nero or here in the forum very quickly.

  • Dear oldmickthejoiner, I very much appreciate your comments and if I offended you and or anyone out there, I am very, very sorry. As I stated in the beginning, I love their software and it is the very finest out there. I am very disappointed that I will have to part with this software as I have used it for many, many years and there is none better. I have twice done as you suggested and have not had a reply. I have been at this since 1:45 am last night and now it is now almost 3:30 pm here. The very fact that I will most likely have to part with this fine software that I have enjoyed for many years really frustrates me, since I know that whatever software I will install will never compare with this software that I will be deleting. Since it seems that Windows 10 OS will likely continue to have its pitt falls, I understand that Nero is not entirely the blame, you have to understand that trying to keep up with the latest is Windows OS sometimes is very unnerving as they continue to fine tune their product. Well enough of this depressing issue. I want to wish everyone out there a very peaceful and very blessed and holy Christmas and a very prosperous New Year 2017.
