Why does 'neroexportserver' stop working

I've got a 60-sec video (NNW1). When I try to export to 1280 x 720, I get the neroexportserver not working dialogue (NNW2), followed by the "Oh my! What a big video!" moany-box (NNW3).
Seriously? What if I reaaly was making a movie?!
Can anybody help?

    I don't know what you're trying to accomplish but the only video you will get out this project is that which is on Video 11 (if that's video), except for a few seconds of the video on Video 1.

    When you add things to new video tracks, they will write over what's below them. For example, you wouldn't see any of the .png or .mp4 files because you have a .tif file which is the same length on video track 10.

    You should simplify the project accordingly.

  • Yeah you need to spread those files out unless you are using opacity on track 1 to 10 Nero can handle 99 tracks and it works I have tried it but admittedly the laptop slows to a crawl as does Nero Video and it took 2 hours to render 1 minute but it did work haha. That system resource is a common error in 2015 2016 and I got it all the time sometimes with only one track on a video and I could never nail it down I was told about the paging file size and the virtual memory was to blame so I adjusted all that but still no luck so I went to 2017 and have never had that error and I use Nero every day.

  • Yeah you can increase virtual memory to 3 times max and this did work for me for a while I think about 3 months but then it went again but bear in mind I use Nero every day and produce 5 videos a week so it may take a while before it gets corrupted again but as I say I am now on 2017 and had no issues and I have put Virtual Memory back to windows settings and I think I am on about video 150 and no issues so far 2015 ended up running out with one video file so I gave up in the end so I think it is an installation problem or some kind of corruption in Nero Video over time but the message is always incorect unless of course, you overload like Wither did.

The following would elicit the same sort of comment, but it would be ignoring any applied effects, scaling, size, etc.



      Here's an export of the above (using opacity keyframes as Dave indicated):



      Then, there was, "You can set your virtual memory, typically, to 3 times the amount of RAM. However, I think there's a limit, depending on the OS. ", closely followed by "You could also get rid of temporary files and empty the recycle bin using the Windows Disk Cleanup tool in Accessories. You have to select those items. ".

      Shortly afterward, you said, " I don't think it's a resource issue.".

      So, don't you think that it would be best for Bob to get some help from Nero Tech Support in the hope that he might come across someone that is knowledgeable about the software.

  • Success! Disk clean-up and increasing virtual memory has persuaded Nero that it is up to the task of exporting that video, which you can see at https://youtu.be/MOxBMhYEes0 on my YouTube channel.

    • By the way, you should let tech support know that the problem is resolved. No sense in having them waste resources on a non-existant problem.

      The error message said it was a "resource problem". The question in every one of these cases is, "What is the source of the resource error?". As far as I know, no Nero employee has informed this forum of the possible reasons for the error to occur. I also can't remember a case where there has been any indication that there was a shortage of disc space or virtual memory before the cleaning and expansion were done. So, the only conclusion that I consider safe to make is that "something" changed and now it works!
